Sacpro turns 30 years old

Sacpro was founded in 1988 by Jan-Erik Svedlund. This means that we are turning 30 years old this year.

Sacpro AB is today Sweden’s leading supplier of materials, Equipment and training for pipe rehabilitation of sewage systems. The company was founded in Falun 1988 by Jan-Erik Svedlund, he is still a majority owner and part of the board of directors. In 2018, Sacpro is turning 30 years old. 30 years with pipe rehabilitation inside buildings. First, Sacpro was a contractor and carried out installations around Sweden. Because pipe rehabilitation inside buildings was very unusual, we had to put a lot of effort in development of materials and tools to make installations faster, easier and safer. Since 2005, Sacpro has only acted as a manufacturer and supplier to the Contractors. In other words, there are many years of development and experience that has builded our company.

The history of Sacpro

1988 Sacrab (former name of Sacpro) was founded by Jan-Erik Svedlund, and was working with pipe bursting and pipe rehabilitation in the ground.

1990 As one of the first installers in Sweden, Sacrab introduces pipe rehabilitation into buildings.

1991 Sacrab develops tools for installation of liner and branch pipes inside buildings.

1992 Sacrab is divided into two business areas, contractors and supplier of materials and tools.

2002 The Sacpipe brand is created, and used for materials and tools.

2005 The construction business is acquired and we become only a supplier of materials and tools for relining inside buildings. The company changes its name to Sacpro.

2008 Sacpipe Connection System is launched, including Brawoliner’s liner, Sacparts branch pipes and new pipe connection. At the same time, the Sactools brand is created for all tools manufactured by Sacpro.

2009 Sacpro gets its first reseller outside Scandinavia, Brawoliner in Germany.

2012 Authorized installer of Sacpipe Connection System is launched. The system is supplemented with Sacparts Relining Connection, which is a safe connection from a conventional tube to a renovated pipe.

2013 Sacpro has resellers in five countries

2015 Fredrik Sterner takes over as new CEO after Jan-Erik Svedlund.

2017 Sacpro extends its premises by 385 m², of which 135 m² are converted to a training area. The entire premises is now about 1400 m². Sacpro has a turnover of approximately SEK 48.5 million

2018 Sacpro celebrates 30 years and has 10 employees.
